We have just been to Kolkata and visited the project again.
It is exciting to have three new girls come to live with us. Whilst, at the same time, we have two of our "old girls" now moving on into tertiary study - exactly what they will study is dependent on high school grades. One of the girls hopes to become a policewoman while the other, a schoolteacher. So it is exciting.
Our house mum works so hard - we are concerned for her energy levels! Hence now we are looking to take on an assistant who can help her in all regards as well as be involved in teaching English to the girls.
We thank you so much for your support! It is not simply that you give money, but rather, it is that we have girls now who live at a level and who have prospects for the future like they neve would have dreamed of when they lived back in their villages. Much thanks to you our supporters
