Ladrillo Verde Supporting Rural Families

Dear donors and friends of LADRILLO VERDE, it is a pleasure to greet you, to wish you a prosperous year 2025, full of health and success, we want to thank you deeply for your invaluable support. We are pleased to share with you the progress we have made together in our mission.
This period has been particularly challenging for our Punta Hacienda community. Being located in a rural and remote area, the vulnerability of our children and older adults has been considerably increased. The situation was exacerbated after the prolonged drought and devastating fires that wiped out hundreds of crops and acres of our natural environment. These were vital for the subsistence of our people, as they provided us with land products for our own consumption and for commercialization, which represented an important source of income for many families.

The effects of the loss of this land have been devastating, but despite the difficulties, we are moving forward with the hope of recovering what has been lost. We are working tirelessly to rehabilitate the land, re-fertilize it and re-establish our sources of livelihood. Although the road is long, each small step forward is another step towards the recovery of our community and the strengthening of our community.
Thanks to your generosity and unconditional support, we have been able to recover, little by little, part of our nature and the stability we need so much. Your collaboration has been fundamental in this process, allowing us to take the first steps to restore our lands and improve the living conditions of our inhabitants. We move forward with the conviction that, together, we can overcome any challenge and continue to build a just and equitable future for all.
