Over the past few months, Women's Education Project has been repackaging our Leadership Academy curriculum and preparing our tech platform LAMP for pilots with new partners in new contexts and geographies.
To prepare for our pilot this summer and guide the next phase of the Leadership Academy, we surveyed over 600 students, alumnae, partners, and experts. The findings are clear: young women are eager for flexible, hybrid learning but need stronger career guidance, mentorship, and digital access. Alumnae are ready to step into leadership roles (as Fellows), while partners want to co-create programs and collaborate.
Across all groups, mentorship, certification, and real-world exposure emerged as key priorities.
These insights shape our next steps, building our Leadership Academy, rooted in a sisterhood and supported by Alumnae fellows and a diverse network of role models and mentors.
Working alongside students, Alumnae Fellows, staff, and partners, we will test and strengthen:
As we move forward, we remain committed to supporting each young woman as an individual choosing her own career path while ensuring every partnership is locally owned and sustained.
