A new reality against COVID-19, during this period the one-year authorization was obtained for the construction of the Centre; however it has been postponed due to the health contingency, so efforts have been channelled in support of families with humanitarian aid and in the construction of peace and resilience, as well as adapting the distance educational program incorporating the use of information and communication technologies in its processes for the distribution of pantries , health kits, as well as kits with educational material for the 148 families we work with.
That is why we are joining efforts at a distance to care for girls, children and their families and to realize Mayama's mission of developing her assertive decision-making skills and substantive improvement in her quality of life and dealing with situations like the one we live in.
Construction of the Center will be restarted as soon as we have government authorization.
Today more than ever the importance of continuing the goal of having the New Day Center.
