Hello *****
I dearly want to thankyou on behalf of the communities we support and the entire colleauges of staff at the bottom of our hearts for your support and love in walking with us a big milestone in 2023.
Children in rural communities continued to facing the challenge of starvation especially those from low income families. A series of crises have combined to leave more than 4000 people desperately short of food in rural communities. Praying for such a vast crisis can feel overwhelming, but prayer is powerful and can be part of the solution.
The worst drought in the past 2years has led to harvests withering away; the invasion of Ukraine caused the price of food imports to skyrocket; local conflicts forced millions of people from their homes; and flash floods have been washing away what little is left.
We are so greatful to God and for enerious contributions to feed the hungry children, we were able to reachout to 232 households with food items of; rice, cooking oil, beans and salt for them to survive in the season of hunger.
What we prayed for last year in 2023
There are five areas we can focus our prayers on: for people affected by hunger and water shortages; for those in leadership positions; for God’s provision and love to be revealed through the church; for vulnerable children; and for peace.
Pray for people affected by hunger and water shortages
This prayer guide for Charitable Incorporated Community Organization Uganda supported children was divided into two sections: the first giving suggestions on what to pray for, and the second providing different creative prayer ideas for you and your church, group or family to use.
Thank you
Thank you for making up your mind not to Leave NO ONE behind. Let’s continue to pray and act together on behalf of people suffering from hunger.
