This project aims to provide urgent humanitarian support, including food, water, medicine, and tents, to 500 displaced families of Syrians and Lebanese who have fled from southern Lebanon towards the Syrian border.
Due to the intensification of bombing and fighting in Lebanon, hundreds of families, including Syrian families who had previously fled the war, were forced to flee once again. The displaced are currently living without shelter or sufficient resources, suffering from a severe shortage of food and clean water. With winter approaching and temperatures dropping, the need for humanitarian aid is growing, especially with the lack of blankets and necessary winter clothing to protect them from the cold.
The project will provide temporary tents to protect families from harsh weather conditions, along with distributing food baskets containing essential items. Clean water will be provided through treatment units or tankers, and necessary medications will be distributed to affected families. The project will also include the distribution of blankets and winter clothing to protect them from the extreme cold. https://youtube.com/shorts/Zyqhz_UCvis?si=nv9e6odpe9OiEGyS
In the long term, the project will contribute to improving the living and health conditions of the displaced, reducing the spread of diseases that may arise due to a lack of clean water and medical care. It will also help stabilize displaced families and ease the strain on local resources, enhancing the host communities' ability to cope with the crisis and contributing to the sustainable rebuilding of the lives of these displaced people
