Because of your generosity, American Aid (A A Relief) moved from preparation into action this quarter — feeding hungry animals, delivering clean water, providing medical care, and finding new homes for pets who had been abandoned by the chaos of war. Progress Update (This Quarter)
This quarter marked a turning point for Paws For a Cause: we moved from readiness into real, on-the-ground action. With 45 total donations and $7,382 raised — adding 8 new donors and additional funds this quarter — we were able to begin direct field operations through our trusted local partners in Lebanon.

Community Need (Why This Matters Now)
In Lebanon, war has a shadow that extends far beyond its human victims. As families flee bombed villages and dangerous neighborhoods, thousands of companion animals are being left behind — trapped in damaged homes, wandering destroyed streets, searching for owners who may never return. Without food, water, or shelter, these animals face starvation, dehydration, untreated injuries, and exposure.
The suffering is quiet. The animals cannot speak for themselves.
What we witnessed this quarter in the field confirms the scale of the need: dogs and cats scattered across abandoned neighborhoods, visibly malnourished, desperate for even a small pile of food on the ground. These were once family pets. They deserve compassion — and thanks to your support, they are receiving it.
Challenges & Strategic Response
Challenge 1: Funding remains the primary constraint on scale._Response:_ We are prioritizing high-impact, low-cost interventions (emergency food and water) while working to grow our donor base and monthly giving. Every dollar raised goes directly to field operations.
Challenge 2: Access to some affected areas remains difficult due to ongoing conflict._Response:_ We work exclusively through trusted local partners with established ground presence, enabling us to reach animals in areas that outside responders cannot safely enter.
Challenge 3: The stray population continues to grow faster than current resources allow._Response:_ We have integrated active adoption coordination and community education into our field operations to reduce long-term abandonment and create sustainable solutions beyond emergency relief.
This quarter, something important happened: the work became real. Stray dogs and cats in Lebanon’s abandoned neighborhoods ate — because you gave. Animals with injuries received care — because you gave. Pets found new homes — because you gave.
With $7,382 raised and 45 donors standing behind this mission, we are making a visible, documented difference in the lives of animals who had no one left. We are not stopping here.
Every gift — no matter the size — provides food, clean water, medical treatment, and a path to safety for a frightened animal that still has so much life left to live.
