In Anambra State, many elders live alone without enough food or basic care. Rising living costs and limited family support leave them vulnerable to hunger, illness, and isolation. This project will provide meals, hygiene kits, and basic medical attention to less privileged elders, giving urgent relief and helping them live healthier, safer lives.
Many elders in Anambra State live in poverty, without consistent food, medical care, or support from family. Rising prices of basic goods and medicines make survival difficult. Lack of attention increases risks of malnutrition, illness, and isolation. Without support, these elders face declining health, loneliness, and severe hardship daily.
This project will provide daily meals, hygiene kits, and basic medical attention to less privileged elders. Working with local volunteers and community centers, we will identify the most vulnerable elders and ensure consistent care. Regular visits and support will help elders meet nutritional needs, maintain hygiene, and receive basic health checks to improve quality of life.
Providing elders with consistent food, care, and basic health support will improve their health, reduce malnutrition, and ease loneliness. This project can help older adults live longer, healthier, and more dignified lives. Communities benefit when elders are supported, as it preserves wisdom, strengthens family networks, and reduces social neglect of the most vulnerable population.
