In Uruguay, youth unemployment is approximately 26%, three times the unemployment rate for adults. Join us so that 200 young people from low vulnerable segments of Uruguay can complete our training program, achieve a quality employment and transform their lives. YOUR FUTURE is an innovative and online program that focuses on the development of key socio-emotional and digital skills for the jobs of the future and supports young people to find a job.
In Latin America, while the unemployment rate reaches 14% among young people aged 15 to 24, among adults (25 years and older) the indicator drops to 5% (ILO, 2024). Only 34% of employed young people have a formal or quality job, while the rest work in the informal economy (ILO, 2023). Approximately three quarters of the active young people in the region (65 million) have labor problems either because they are unemployed or because they work informally.
Forge focuses on reducing the consequences of youth unemployment. We challenge youths from low income families to have access to a quality life through work, on-going learning and commitment to the community. Forge has developed an innovative training program focused on the development of socioemotional skills, digital and analytical skills and other job skills essential to the work of the future and to the adaptation to changing environments. Also supports young people to find a job.

When a young person gets a quality job, he or she manages to transform his or her life. Every year, more companies from different sectors join as employing young people who complete the program with very remarkable results.
