Let's help 400 families meet their basic needs

Since the onset of the pandemic, the demand for assistance from Aldeas Infantiles SOS España has surged dramatically. Each day, we witness a growing number of families, with dependent children, reaching out to us in desperate need of support. These families find themselves facing unprecedented challenges, struggling to meet basic necessities that were previously within reach.

Through our dedicated project, we aim to provide aid to 400 families who find themselves in dire circumstances. Our primary focus is on addressing their most fundamental needs. We recognize that access to essentials such as food, medicines, hygiene products, and items for their children is crucial for these families' well-being.

To alleviate their burden, we are distributing shopping vouchers to these families. These vouchers serve as a lifeline, enabling them to purchase essential supplies and alleviate the financial strain they are experiencing. Whether it's ensuring a nutritious meal on the table, obtaining vital medications, or acquiring clothing and milk for their little ones, these vouchers provide a sense of relief and stability in otherwise uncertain times.

Through this initiative, we are not just providing material assistance; we are offering a ray of hope to families who are struggling to navigate through the challenges imposed by the pandemic. We stand committed to supporting these families in their time of need, and with the collective efforts of our community, we strive to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

The pandemic, wars, food insecurity, and the climate emergency have plunged countless families worldwide into precarity. Children, adolescents, and youth have been particularly affected in various aspects of their lives, from education to employment, including protection and mental health. We have increased our activity by 25% in programs in Spain, Latin America, and Africa, going from 36,867 to 46,139 children, adolescents, youth, and families served in total.

This increase in the number of participants has occurred in all areas of the organization's work, particularly in its Prevention Programs.

All of this was made possible thanks to the support of 290,406 members, sponsors, and donors, as well as over 400 companies, foundations, and public institutions.
