Project Report | May 29, 2019
To make dreams happen, they must be implemented.

By Valentina Butenko | Project Leader

Dear friends!

Your support has allowed us to do a lot of interesting things for blind children during the reporting period.

We adapted for printing on the principles of universal design and printed 10 new books: "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer", "The Adventures of Dunno in the Sunny City", "Snegozavr", "Cosmic Adventures of the Cat Mnyauska", "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", "Ann from the Greens hills, flower of perfection, Conrad or a child out of the box, Crane keys, Socks apart. Our team continues to work with museums and libraries. On May 22, the National Museum of Literature of Ukraine organized an exhibition of books for children with severe visual impairments and donated our books to the museum’s funds, as well as to all exhibitors. We conducted a presentation of the book "Crane keys" by Vladimir Vakulenko. Vladimir Vakulenko has a very difficult fate, he is a participant in the Maidan, took part in an anti-terrorist operation in the Donbas, was seriously wounded, he himself raises a son who has autism. And his poems for children are full of humor and love for children. He dreams that the books of all children's Ukrainian writers are available to all children and children who perceive our world differently as well. And we help him fulfill the dream.

Thanks to your support, our company continues to help blind children who study using the inclusion system.

Textbooks are already being prepared for some of them for the new school year. We took part in the Book Arsenal International Exhibition and received a lot of warm comments. And it is very inspiring. Thank you so much for the support! Without you, we would not be able to do so much for blind children.
