Challenge

More than two million Ukrainian children were forced to leave their homes because of the war. In addition, a lot of children of early and preschool age who have complex health disorders are still in Ukraine. For various reasons, their parents cannot evacuate. These children are constantly under stress under shelling, without electricity and heat. Not all of these children can get the help of specialists to develop properly.

Solution

Therefore, we would like to organize traveling schools of parenting skills for such families, where, in a safe area, mothers and their children could receive the necessary knowledge on child development and and their children could receive the necessary knowledge on child development and psychological support within 2 weeks and take a break from the war.

Long-Term Impact

Additional areas of project work will improve the quality of life and development conditions for children from Ukraine who have severe developmental disabilities. Mothers will receive knowledge that will help to avoid additional violations in their children.

Additional Documentation

This project has provided additional documentation in a DOCX file (projdoc.docx).
