Dear Friends,

Thank you for your support of our project "Create Braille Books For 1000 Blind Children". Please, take some time to read our 5th  project report. Since  the reporting period, we have done a positive change in our project, and we are pleased to report about it.

We have printed three new universally designed books with tactile graphics:  "Easy English" - a book for further reading for blind children, "Insects" - fairy tales and riddles about insects, "Tales of Vasiliy  Sukhomlinsky".

  1. In Kharkov 15 blind preschool children received universally designed Ukrainian  books in Braille for free.
  2. During the reporting period, we published 60 books in Braille, were distributed for free among the libraries for the blind children in Kharkov, Kiev, Nikolaev, Zaporozhye, Vinnitsa, Uzhgorod.
  3. During the reporting period, we worked on improvement of the quality of Braille books. We bought a laminator for book covers and paper for making embossed graphics. It has improved the presentation of books produced and their durability.

Are keen on positive change in lives of the Blind children in Ukraine and we do our best to make them enjoy their rights fully!

Please, stay in touch and follow our project progress.

 Our kind regards,

 Valentina Butenko
