El Proyecto es una iniciativa de la Fundacion Xiomara Urena B. en equipo con la por la Fundacion Funcomas que busca salvar vidas cientos de adultos mayores que estan siendo afectadas por la crisis actual causada por el COVID-19. Este proyecto te da la oportunidad de apoyar a garantizar alimentacion, salud y educacion para los envejecientes afectados y sus dependientes directos. Ademas, con este apoyo damos un respiro economico a sus familias con ancianos, que son que no cuentan con el respaldo.
The coronavirus has hit the Dominican Republic hard. Not only in the health field, but also in the economy of many communities that were already experiencing difficulties before experiencing the current global crisis. This situation leaves our cornflowers more exposed than any other social group, not only to the effects of the disease, but also to the economic effects that it has caused.
We will focus our work on 2 main strategies: Temporarily guarantee food for affected families that include the elderly. Facilitate access to food and medicine for families affected by the crisis. Support COVID-19 patients who live the process at home without the proper equipment for their recovery. Create an advertising campaign to collect donations for older adults who have been left without work.
300 families fed for 5 months. 1,300 elderly people with access to COVID-19 prevention articles and health mechanisms. 80 elderly people with COVID-19 disease recovery facilities from their home.
