Thank you for contributing to the Library Access to Hospice Care Workers Worldwide campaign.
IAHPC focuses on advancing palliative care through our educational programs.
Your donations to this campaign have assisted us to expand our programs to include advocacy webinar courses, the upcoming Global Leaders in the Advance and Development (GLAD) of Palliative Care program, Global Directory of Palliative Care Educational Programs, Opioid Price Watch, palliative care essentials and competencies as well as our traveling scholarship program.
The IAHPC educational programs reach our members throughout the world. The location of the IAHPC members are:
- 25.5% are located in Asia
- 21% in Africa
- 20% in North American
- 12% in South America
- 12% in Europe
- 5% in Central America and the Caribbean
- 4.5% in Oceania
Thanks to you, these educational opportunities directly affect patient care and contribute to the development of palliative care policies in our members’ countries.

"IAHPC has had a positive impact"

Thank you for your generous donation through the Global Giving website to the International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care (IAHPC) “Library Access to Hospice Care Workers Worldwide” project.
Through your generous donations, the Giving Tuesday campaign has enabled IAHPC members to conduct 2,346 library searches this year. The IAHPC Library allows palliative care professionals around the world to access peer-reviewed articles from the leading experts.
Irene who is the administrator from a Palliative Care Center in Albania stated that the “IAHPC membership has had a positive impact for the entire staff and the services we offer. It (has) help(ed) us to increase the number of services and offerings (we provide) with standards and high quality. We …use this information to assist us in (our) lobbing and advocating campaigns for palliative care in our country. We have been lucky (to have) these opportunities.

Your Donation Dollars at Work

Thank you for your generous donation through the Global Giving website to the International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care (IAHPC) “Library Access to Hospice Care Workers Worldwide” project. Your donation made an enormous difference.
The IAHPC Library is indispensable to our members. The total number of articles searched in the CINAHL Database by IAHPC members from January through March 2019 has reached 849.
Because of your generous donation, our members will continue to have access to peer reviewed articles to assist them in improving palliative care in their setting.
