Dear friends!
Thanks to your support, we were able to implement the first stage of our project "Life Capital" for blind youth in September 2024. 25 project participants were able to get acquainted with the game and develop recommendations for its adaptation for people with severe visual impairments.
The reporting period was devoted to preparing for the second stage.
The youth team of our project did a lot of creative work to adapt the game field and create computer programs that will allow blind players to be independent.
The game field has been adapted and is ready for production.
We are working on instructions for computer programs for players.
During the second stage, our version of the game "Life Capital" will be tested and we will conduct trainings to prepare leaders to create clubs where young people with severe visual impairments will be able to practice financial literacy skills in a safe format that will be useful to them in real life.
This is especially important for our country at this stage, when after the end of the war creative young people will be needed for its restoration.
We understand that for this purpose the process of socialization of blind youth is necessary, which includes not only knowledge and mastery of culture, but also the implementation of practical skills, building a system of social connections and orientation, where a person manifests himself as a person, as a subject of activity, as an individual.
Difficult but interesting tasks await us! We believe that thanks to the enthusiasm of the youth team, faith in success and your support, we will be able to implement the second and third stages of our project.
