Life-Saving Healthcare to Rural Villages in Uganda

Thanks to your continued support, Deva Health Services has been reaching the most remote communities of Tororo District with life-saving healthcare through our Mobile Medical Clinics.

Since February 2025, our dedicated team has traveled monthly to villages where medical care is often out of reach. During each outreach, we offer:

• Free diagnosis, treatment, and minor procedures

• Antenatal care and safe delivery referrals

• Child immunizations and postnatal follow-ups

• Health education sessions on disease prevention

• Training and equipping of local community health workers

Every day, our facility supports at least 50 patients with basic healthcare services. Behind these numbers are real people — mothers receiving prenatal care, children getting their first vaccines, and families learning how to prevent illness and stay healthy.

One story of impact:
During our June outreach, we met Sarah, a mother of three who had been experiencing complications in her pregnancy. After receiving antenatal care and a safe referral through our mobile team, she delivered a healthy baby at the district hospital. Sarah now joins our postnatal sessions and helps other mothers in her village understand the importance of early care.

What’s next:
In the coming months, we aim to reach even more villages and continue strengthening the network of trained community health workers who ensure that care continues between our visits.
