Thank you for supporting kids with cancer from Ukraine!
In the picture, you see a 15-year-old guy whose name is Slavik. As an active sportsman, he always had some minor injuries. That’s why his family wasn’t worried when his knee ached after a badminton game. However, the pain didn’t disappear, and after a series of examinations, a tumor was detected.
Slavik’s life changed in an instant. Before the disease, his life was high school and helping mom do household chores, victories in computer science contests and dreams of a career in software engineering, playing football and solo guitar with the local band. Just like any teenager.
Now Slavik is on treatment. As he is in the hospital in Ukraine, he and his parents couldn’t be sure that they would receive the necessary medication on time. It’s terrible when kids’ survival depends on expensive drugs you cannot afford to buy.
Fortunately, together you help Slavik and many kids like him. The guy will have the chemo drugs prescribed for him. He can continue treatment and make plans for the future.
