Yeva Is 2. Her Treatment Continues While Her Father Is at War

Dear Friends,

Right now, many children who need your support are going through treatment while one of their parents is away defending their country in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Yeva is one of them. She is 2 years old. A calm and curious girl who loves drawing, books, and riding her balance bike next to her mother.

Her illness appeared before she turned one. After a severe infection, her parents noticed weight loss, low energy, and loss of appetite. An ultrasound showed a tumor.

Since then, her life has been filled with treatment. Yeva has gone through 8 cycles of chemotherapy, surgery, and a bone marrow transplant. The tumor has reduced, but her treatment continues. She is now recovering after transplantation, with further examinations and radiation therapy ahead.

What holds Yeva together is the family that remains around her. Her mother, always close. Her older sister, who has learned a quiet, steady gentleness. And her father, even from afar, remains part of her sense of safety.

As Yeva's mother recalls, sometimes, support appears in simple, unexpected ways. Once, after hearing their story, a taxi driver refused to take payment and instead asked how he could help other children. Moments like this stay with families.

Your support feels like that to Yeva, and to every child walking this path. Through this project, you help provide medicines, medical equipment, and rehabilitation as well as something just as important: psychological care and small everyday moments of childhood.

Thank you for choosing to be part of this.
