Dear Donors,
This project was launched as a response to the continuously worsening healthcare situation in Lebanon. Many people in Lebanon have been leaving their illnesses untreated because they are unable to afford treatment.
So far, thanks to your donations, the “Lifeline” project has given four Syrian refugees a chance to treat their eyes.
Anas, a bright ten-year-old boy, was able to have strabismus treatment. Anas mentioned that he had some difficult days at school because of his eyesight. Thankfully, through this project, we were able to help him get the proper treatment for him to continue his educational journey. Hasan, a sixty-nine-year-old man, was also able to have glaucoma surgery.
Once again, I would like to thank you for your support because these operations will help them continue their day-to-day lives normally.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
