In the humanitarian field, we support people on different levels such as relief, education, livelihood, and medical assistance. However, when it comes to medical support it becomes a very sensitive topic where it is a lifesaving project and plays a great role in the beneficiaries' lives. That is why launching this project was of great importance .
To give you a closer insight, we are going to share one of the heart-touching stories.
Anas , 10 years old, syrian refugee child who suffers from eye -sight problems. All the past years, Anas used to get bullied because he could not see properly at school also he could not play with his friends at the camp.
This caused him to have psychological problems staying in his tent alone. However, after launching this project, Anas was one of the cases who got chosen to get the treatment to improve his vision. He went to the eye specialist, received several sessions and now he got much better.
Anas and his family have hope in life again as Anas is able to live his childhood normally.
