Dear respected donors,
Thank you for your support for the Lifeskills program for 3,250 children across Nigeria. While the funds received so far are not yet sufficient to begin full implementation, your early contributions help draw attention to the urgent need to equip children with essential life skills.
Many children grow up without guidance on basic communication, problem-solving, hygiene, nutrition, or financial literacy. Poverty, lack of parental supervision, and unsafe environments leave them vulnerable to child labor, early marriage, exploitation, and poor health. Without intervention, these vulnerabilities limit their education and reduce future economic opportunities, perpetuating cycles of hardship and unsafe living conditions.
This project will provide structured training in safe community spaces, led by local trainers using interactive, practical methods. Children will learn communication, decision-making, hygiene practices, nutrition, and financial management. Workshops will be reinforced through peer group activities to ensure lessons are understood and applied in daily life.
Once fully funded, this program will help children develop skills necessary to navigate challenges safely and independently. With these abilities, they are more likely to complete school, make informed decisions, and access safe and productive opportunities. Over time, the knowledge gained will guide them into adulthood, helping break cycles of poverty and vulnerability, while strengthening communities through responsible, capable youth.
We are grateful for your support. Every donation moves us closer to giving 3,250 children the tools to thrive, stay safe, and build better futures for themselves and their communities.
Warm regards,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
