Project Report | Jul 2, 2023
Recap of Gualeguaychu

By Gonzalo | Project Leader

(English version below)

¡Muchas gracias!

At our headquarters in Gualeguaychú (Entre Ríos province), the majority of participants in the Employment Training Center were women. Therefore, we would like to share a little about the activities that have taken place in recent months.

The Carpentry workshop was complemented by furniture assembly for their homes, while also acquiring skills for future ventures. Wooden cellphone holders were also produced, which were purchased by the City Council.

The Blacksmithing workshop also involved the assembly of structures with various functionalities, but its main focus was on the use of tools and the safety measures required, laying the foundation for further exploration of the subject matter in upcoming modules.

Last but certainly not least, the Digital Skills workshop provided a space with internet access where participants could practice what they had learned, carry out job searches, handle personal tasks and procedures, reconnect with friends and family, and even enroll in training activities. This contributes to narrowing the existing digital gap and emphasizes tools for predominantly online job searches.

Thanks to the participation of all those who support us through donations and spreading the word, this was made possible. We are looking forward to a new cohort in the upcoming semester and continue to rely on your support! Thank you very much!
