Reinforcing homeless women's autonomy

We are entering the winter season, the most difficult for homeless people. The cold weather is coming and in the current social context in Argentina (and specifically in the City of Buenos Aires) the options for shelter are increasingly scarce and less receptive to the needs of vulnerable populations.

Our contribution to address this situation is to articulate more and more with organizations that shelter people in need of refuge and provide them with some stability.

We offer them, then, an option to rebuild their working lives, through our Employment Training Center.

We are about to start with the fourth group of people this year. This time we will have a renewed version of our sewing workshop, as some women were particularly interested in the proposal.

Inicia nuestro 4to grupo de 2024

Estamos entrando en la temporada invernal, la más difícil para las personas en situación de calle.  Llega el frío y en contexto social actual en Argentina (y puntualmente en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires) las opciones para refugiarse son cada vez más escasas y menos receptivas ante las necesidades de las poblaciones vulneradas.

Nuestro aporte para abordar esta situación es articular cada vez más con las organizaciones que reciben personas que necesitan un refugio y les proporcionan alguna estabilidad.

Les ofrecemos, entonces, una opción para reconstruir su vida laboral, mediante nuestro Centro de Formación para el Empleo.

Estamos por comenzar con el cuarto grupo de personas este año. En esta ocasión tendremos una versión renovada de nuestro taller de costura, ya que algunas mujeres se vieron especialmente interesadas por la propuesta.
