Since the publication of our last progress report, no new donations have been received. We remain deeply grateful to the 63 donors who helped raise $11,372 in total. Their support has been instrumental in reaching hundreds of families affected by the earthquakes. While our initial fundraising goal of $200,000 remains unmet, the generosity of our donors has brought meaningful relief to those most in need.
The Crisis Continues
Although the immediate emergency phase has passed, the situation in the earthquake zone is still challenging. Cancer and leukemia patients living in the affected regions continue to struggle with health and environmental hardships. As the summer heat intensifies, many families still lack access to safe housing, proper sanitation, clean water, and essential seasonal items such as fans, sunscreen, summer clothing, and safe food storage supplies.
LÖSEV’s Continued Response
Through our “Truck of Goodness” (Iyilikler Tr') campaign, LÖSEV teams have remained active in the region, ensuring that aid consistently reaches those who need it most. Our ongoing distributions have included food parcels, light clothing, hygiene kits, clean water, sun protection items, and cooling equipment whenever available.
Among the more than 110,000 cancer and leukemia patients supported by our foundation, over 5,000 live in the earthquake-affected areas. Many of them continue to face difficulties related to housing, health, and access to treatment.

Every donation has provided tangible relief and hope to families coping with both illness and the long-term impact of the disaster. Contributions to this project have helped LÖSEV deliver:

Temporary and safe shelter during the hot summer months
