Since our previous report dated November 3, 2025, no additional donations have been received for this campaign. We remain sincerely grateful to the 63 donors who contributed a total of $11,372. Their generosity enabled us to respond to urgent needs in the aftermath of the earthquakes and to stand beside families facing both disaster and serious illness.
Although the emergency phase has formally ended, the realities in the earthquake-affected regions continue to demand attention.
The Crisis Has Evolved, But Needs Persist
Families of children with leukemia and cancer remain among the most vulnerable. Many continue to experience unstable living conditions, limited access to proper sanitation, clean water shortages, and seasonal challenges. Even months after the disaster, housing insecurity and access to safe daily necessities remain ongoing concerns for numerous families.
Children undergoing cancer treatment face compounded difficulties. Medical vulnerability, disrupted infrastructure, and economic hardship continue to affect their recovery journey.
LÖSEV’s Sustained Field Presence
Through our “Truck of Goodness” campaign, LÖSEV teams have continued delivering targeted assistance to families in the region. Distributions have included food parcels, hygiene kits, clean water, clothing, and protective supplies appropriate to seasonal conditions.
Among the more than 110,000 leukemia and cancer patients supported by our foundation, over 5,000 reside in the earthquake zone. Many are still rebuilding their lives while continuing intensive medical treatment.
The Meaning Behind Every Contribution
Each donation to this campaign has directly supported:
These contributions have provided stability at a time of deep uncertainty and have reinforced the message that no family faces this hardship alone.
Moving Forward
As this specific fundraising effort reaches its final phase, LÖSEV’s broader commitment to earthquake-affected families continues through our long-term patient support programs. The impact created through this campaign remains meaningful and lasting.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed. Your solidarity has translated into concrete relief, dignity, and hope for children fighting both illness and the consequences of disaster.
Thank you for standing with us.
