Children in Patio Bonito face a context of poverty, drug addiction, malnutrition, crime and poor educational quality. The Fundacion PT develops methodologies based on affection, friendship and respect. Through this work children strengthen their confidence. Our strategies are art, culture, school permanence and healthy and nutritious food. With your support we will improve the quality of life of 100 children and their families to receive training, food, affection.
Patio Bonito children live in a context of poverty, displacement, child-juvenile delinquency, prostitution, drug addiction. 70% of children's families work in recycling, in street sales in urban streets and buses and in the collection of food in decomposition. Artistic and cultural training in the neighborhood is limited and children are exposed to misuse of free time. All this increases teenage pregnancy, de-schooling, malnutrition, drug use and the absence or loss of a life project
The Fundacion PT is a place of welcome and affection for children and families. The foundation forms from art and culture, makes school reinforcement, provides healthy and nutritious food, forms in values, encourages the good use of free time and good treatment between parents and children. Children's moms are trained in the kitchen to get better jobs. If we have more allies who believe in the power of affection for transformation, it will be more children and families who have a better life
Children will be recognized as people with courage and dignity. They will be better educated and fed. Moms will have more decent jobs from the kitchen trade. Children will finish their secondary education by expanding their opportunities to study at the university. In the future, children will constitute families that break the circle of violence, giving affection to their children. Children and their families will continue to be part of the solution to improve life in their community
