Dear Donors,
We are thrilled to share that our Therapeutic Garden is now complete!
After nine months of dedicated and thoughtful work, the result is truly extraordinary. We’ve attached some photos so you can see it for yourselves!
A therapeutic garden is a specially designed green space intended to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. These gardens are used as complementary tools in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, senior residences, schools, and communities. But this is not just a beautiful garden—its design is grounded in environmental psychology, neuroscience, and integrative medicine. Every plant, path, and bench has a specific purpose.
What makes our garden unique is that it is the first in the region to be systematically and continuously open to external groups. It was created as a space for connection, learning, and well-being, welcoming diverse organizations: mainstream and special education schools, care homes, neighborhood associations, and therapeutic groups. The garden is designed for use by both children and adults.
We’ve included a small pond, which will encourage biodiversity and enhance relaxing therapies through stimulation of foot nerves—adding another layer to the healing experience.
Our therapists have already received specialized training, and some patients have begun to enjoy the wonderful benefits of outdoor therapy sessions.
The official inauguration took place on Friday, May 30, and included a blessing by Father Ángel.
We are confident that this garden will make a meaningful difference in the lives of many of our patients.
Thank you for making this possible. We deeply appreciate your support and hope you’ll continue to trust us in bringing projects like this to life!
With gratitude,
Eugenia
