Christmas is a time of joy, warmth, and belonging, feelings that street-connected children rarely experience while surviving on their own. At Kimbilio, the festive season offers a unique opportunity to show every child that they are loved, valued, and part of a caring family.
Preparations are underway to make this Christmas truly unforgettable across our day centre and transit homes. We are planning festive celebrations complete with special hot meals, music, dancing, and traditional games that bring out pure laughter and childhood joy. Each child will also receive a thoughtful gift, such as new clothes, shoes, or school treats- giving them practical items along with the excitement of unwrapping something just for them.
Creating these joyful holiday memories and providing festive meals and gifts requires extra resources. Your donations to this GlobalGiving project directly fund our Christmas celebrations, ensuring that youth who once felt forgotten can celebrate with hope and dignity.
