Make Cloth Diapering Accessible for US Families

Summary

We support partners in the United States who work with families struggling to afford diaper need. Our reusable cloth diaper kits help save on funds for other basic needs while also maintaining health and sanitary conditions for the people they serve. In the United States, 1 in 7 children live in poverty. Oftentimes, these families are sacrificing one basic need to afford the other. This can include choosing between food and diapers. We aim to end that choice.

Challenge

We support partners in the United States who work with families struggling to afford diaper need. Our reusable cloth diaper kits help save on funds for other basic needs while also maintaining health and sanitary conditions for the people they serve. In the United States, 1 in 7 children live in poverty. Oftentimes, these families are sacrificing one basic need to afford the other. This can include choosing between food and diapers. We aim to end that choice.

Solution

We provide cloth kits to partners around the United States to redistribute to families in need. This opens up necessary funds for families to afford all basic needs. Reusable cloth items also provide ongoing relief for the organization, helping them to survive the entire coronavirus.

Long-Term Impact

Cloth diapering kits will remain as an essential resource for our partners to continue supporting the people they serve. This means expanded financial resources for other basic necessities after the pandemic. It could also be a financial lifesaver for some organizations who will certainly face economic hardships because of the coronavirus.
