By Godwin Mongi | Project Leader
We are thrilled with the increase of educators in Tanzania who are committed to promoting virtues practices in their classrooms. This focus will help ensure that our children are being taught in safe and caring school communities.
In support of their commitment, our team has been working on translating The Virtues Project Classroom Virtues Cards into Swahili. Cards and a poster of the 52 virtues in the card deck will help promote these practices, awakening and strengthening virtues in the classroom and school community. The cards will simplify the practice for children of all ages, from preschool to secondary schools.
The cards and posters will be available for ordering through Bright Jamii Initiative in Tanzania and The Virtues Project global website soon! Proceeds will help further our work to end the caning of children in Tanzania.
Your generosity helped make the translation and redesigning of these cards and posters possible. We are forever thankful for the support you continue to award us as we strive to continue creating safe and caring school communities.
