The project will provide the boat with an appropriate engine of 75 horse-power, petrol reserve and life vest.
The Glenn Paige Nonkilling School that holds 600 school children victims of war, is a private free charge school. The boat constitute a small business support for the school. Actually, the boat sails with a worn engine of low power (55 horse-power). The project reinforce the boat potentially to sail.
The boat will carry people and their goods from one place to another on the Lake Tanganyika. This income generation activity will provide funds to cover all the needs of the school.
The project will stabilize (make available) the salaries of 11 school workers and cover the needs like health care, malnutrition, clothes and shoes for 600 school children and for the good working of the school.
