By Mabwe Lucien | Project Leader
Our new boat is in the finishing phase and has been sent to Tanzania for paint finishing work and general manufacturing control.
The work was long considering the little means we had at our disposal but thanks to the external contributions the work is almost completed.
"Kiisharangi mambo itakuwa sawa !" exclaimed the captain of our boat. This sentence in Kiswahili means in English "After painting, things will go well".
Our new boat, combined with the new, more powerful engine (75 horsepower), that we want to purchase and the object of this great project will make our boat profitable.
This profitability will make the financial situation of our School good and it will allow us to provide for the School's needs (running costs, salary payment of the administrative and teaching staff) and to initiate other small projects for the well-being of the whole community of Kazimia.
We reiterate our appeal to our various donors, to support us and thank them warmly for their generosity.
Together let's build a peaceful and nokilling world.
No more killing !
