Our boat is under repair (9)
Our boat arrived from Tanzania where it has just been painted. After some administrative formalities, it will begin navigation on Lake Tanganyika. It ensures the movement of people and goods between the natural harbor of Kazimia and different ports of Rumonge (Burundi), Kigoma (Tanzania), Uvira, Baraka and Kalemie (DR Congo).
Of course, it also provides traffic for local markets (Yungu, Ubwari, Talama and Wimbi).
However, the engine remains a weak element for the good navigation of our boat. It is old and weak power for our boat.
Our project is to purchase a powerful 75 horsepower engine that is suitable for the 30 tons of the boat capable of carrying people and goods safely.
Let's hope for more donations so that our boat can be profitable and can support financially our pioneering nonkilling school.
Your suggestions and advice are welcome.
No more killing!
