Our Boat Business project under the name "Making profitable the boat of Glenn Paige School" is progressing well. The boat that remains the only self-financing of the School to meet the needs of the school (Salaries of employees, the welfare of children and the normal functioning of the School) is an essential part of the existence of the school.
This project that aims the efficiency and profitability of the boat receive various supports worldwide. This has already allowed us to buy 20 life vests and have 500 liters of petrol reserves.
A part of donations is kept in order to complete purchase the new engine 75 horsepower.
What made Mayembe, captain of the boat, tell "Ah! Ni muhimu kuwa na maboya na essence kwa kutembea vizuri kwa ajili ya usalama baharini" Kiswahili sentence that means in English “Ah ! it’s good to have the live vests and petrol reserve to navigate safely”
Furthermore, our boat anchored for two weeks at the small port of Ujiji, Kigoma (Tanzania) where it expects the package to bring in DR Congo.
We sincerely thank our different donors through the world who support our school in the profitability of the boat.
Is there any idea, suggestion that can help to Improve our activities? If Yes, we will kindly accept it! Thank you !
