Our boat business is progressing well. Note that the boat is our only means facing the multiple needs of the school.
The boat transports goods and persons between the differents areas of Lake Tanganyika; mainly it sails between Tanzania (Ujiji, Kigoma), Burundi (Rumonge, Bujumbura) and DR Congo (Uvira Presqu'ile Ubwari, Katanga).
To be profitable, our boat (of 32 tonnes) needs a new engine of 75 horsepower rather than a machine 55 horses we use now.
Currently, we have already acquired through this project life vests and petrol reserves for easy navigation. The remaining funds we receive we care it for the purchase of the new engine.
The sailor Silas Kashindi sighs "Siku tutapata Machine Mpya kazi itakuwa Nzuri sana" this sentence in Kiswahili means "the day that we’ll have the new engine, the work will be excellent."
We thank our donors who support us and we need constructive ideas.
Thank you a lot.
