The boat “Mleci -Center for Global Nonkilling”, property of Glenn Paige Nonkilling School is unique on Lake Tanganyika :
- This is the only boat owned to school wich makes school possible. Indeed it pays all the costs of the school.
- The boat carries two obvious badges: Flag of the DR Congo and a sign of nonkilling. This last badge reminds all people of the region to renounce killing. It also reminds them many seminars that we organized in Burundi, DR Congo, Rwanda and Tanzania to become center s of nonkilling.
This boat, for peace and nonviolence, is used to radiate a school for the future leadership of nonviolence in the region. It is a noble mission.
At present, the amount is increasing for us to equip the boat with a motor (75 hp) more powerful and efficient in navigation.
Here, we thank particularly Manlius Pebble Hill School which chose our school as a subject of charity for this year's in Boat part. We are grateful to his Team of fundraising that initiates good deeds in our favor.
The headmaster of School said " Réellement l’Ecole Manlius Pebble Hill School sert la cause de non meurtre en rentabilisant notre Ecole”. This french sentence means “Really, Manlius Pebble Hill School serves the cause of nonkilling by agreeing to act for the profitability of our School"
We also thank all our donors who work for global nonkilling, for their unconditional support to our pioneering school in the African Great Lakes Region.
Dear beloved suggestions are appreciated.
