Dear Donors,
Thank you for your generosity and support. Your commitment helps protect mothers and babies in rural communities who face life-threatening risks from malaria.
Malaria is one of the leading causes of maternal deaths in Nigeria, and pregnant women are four times more likely to suffer severe illness, putting both themselves and their unborn children at risk. The “Malaria & Pregnancy Don’t Mix: Save 2,000 Women Now” project will provide insecticide-treated nets, preventive malaria drugs, and rapid testing for 2,000 pregnant women. Mobile health teams will deliver care directly in rural areas, and training sessions will teach women how to protect themselves during pregnancy.
While the initial donation is encouraging, additional support is needed to launch the first phase of the project. With your help, pregnant women can avoid malaria-related complications, mothers can give birth safely, and babies can start life healthy. Over time, families and communities will benefit from fewer maternal and infant deaths, healthier pregnancies, and stronger foundations for the next generation.
Warm regards,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
