The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect communities all over the world. The countries most at risk, however, are those that are most vulnerable to the virus. This includes communities where there is limited access to healthcare, as well as individuals experiencing immunocompromisation due to HIV+. This is the current condition in developing countries such as Mali, which does not possess the healthcare structure that would help to prevent and control a pandemic as large as COVID-19.
GAIA Vaccine Foundation is looking to remain ahead of the curve in Mali in terms of the COVID-19 pandemic and the number of infected individuals. Therefore, the organization is working with local clinics and doctors to design appropriate responses to the pandemic in Mali, as well as developing and providing adequate medical service to those who are immunocompromised.
Now more than ever, your support is welcomed and greatly appreciated. For a donation of $10, you would be providing health care officials with a box of gloves. For only $25, you would be providing them with a box of masks. A donation of $50 would be providing surgical gowns, and for $80, you would be funding a consistent supply of disinfectant. We thank you for your ongoing support, especially during times as unprecedented as the COVID-19 pandemic.
