Dear Supporters,
Early October our community along the gulf coast of Mexico was told to prepare for another grade 4 Hurricane called Delta that was fast approaching.
2020 has certainly been a challenging year as many of our operations had to take a huge cut due to COVID-19, making our restoration projects and marine awareness projects come to almost a halt. In early October Hurricane Delta hit our coastline and as such has had an even bigger impact on our incredible reef. Our local team have begun emergency response to the damage and are working on our restoration project in partnership with other local authorities. Our restoration project is planned to take over 10 years to complete and following the recent hurricane season the local area has experienced serious damage that needs our intervention fast.
