Challenge

Many women experience serious pregnancy and childbirth complications such as severe bleeding, high blood pressure, infections, or obstructed labor. Due to poverty, distance, and high medical costs, these women often delay or are unable to access emergency care, leading to preventable maternal and newborn deaths.

Solution

Maternal Health Emergency Support will remove financial and logistical barriers by covering emergency medical costs, medications, diagnostics, and referrals. The project will work closely with health facilities to ensure rapid response and follow-up care for mothers and newborns.

Long-Term Impact

This project will contribute to safer pregnancies and childbirths, improved maternal survival rates, and healthier babies. Over time, it will strengthen community trust in maternal healthcare and encourage early care-seeking behavior.
