Dear Our Donors,
We have been able to start work, through your support on “Coexistence for Children”.
We have started to organize workshops in discrimination topics to develop the peaceful communication in our children programs through your supports. Approximately 60 Children has joined our children organisations for last 2 months. The numbers of children in our organisation are increase day after day. A Syrian Kid and woman are continuing to get Turkish language lessons to be able to make less their adaptation problems against the environment. The children from different backgrounds are learning what the meaning of discrimination, violence, and Art and playing traditional games for kids etc among their different cultures by getting together. Six children are continuing to get psychological counseling. We are providing children psychological counseling because of the families and children’s' requests. In order to develop the cultural adaptation of Turkish and Syrian children and play games together.
We organized art workshop for Turkish and Syrian children. Artist/Illustrator Christine Mohr organized art workshop. We organized a Street Festival in Fener Balat neighborhood for all families. After the Festival, Christine Mohr organized an exhibition in Berlin; we collaborate with Goethe Institute to organize this workshop and exhibition. 120 children and their families joined the festival.
