“Today, for lunch we had chicken biryani! I study at the Nainsukh Branch of the NUR Foundation School and my weekly lunch is the best time of the week!!”
The pictures are from the weekly lunch at the Nainsukh – NUR Foundation School where 160 students were fed Chicken Biryani.
The students at NUR Foundation Schools come from impoverished backgrounds and are provided free education with free books and uniforms. The children come from background where even one square meal a day is not possible. So every week a school lunch is organized for all the children studying the school in the outskirts of Lahore and Dera Ghazi Khan
NUR Foundation Schools are striving to provide its 1850 students healthy meals and will like to make provide them on a daily basis but due to financial constraints it is very difficult to provide meal on daily basis. To reach this goal we need your generous support so that we all can continue to see their happy faces
