As the sun set in for the new year, we are working towards our goal to empower the communities we serve with renewed passion and vigor
The schools that the NUR Community Outreach Program launched in 1995 has had more than 20 batches graduating and currently almost 2000 children are studying in those schools. Coming from impoverished backgrounds a proper meal on the table is sometimes just not possible.
While we would like to arrange for lunch everyday however given the limited resources we are able to ensure weekly lunches and with your support we hope to make these lunches a daily exercise.
So the pictures you see are from the Lakhudair Branch of the NUR Foundation School where almost 420 students had Chicken Biryani.
The loud chatter, the excitement and the smiles of these children make it all worthwhile.
Thank you for your support!
