Rising waters have disrupted communication networks and washed out roads and bridges, disrupting the delivery of critical supplies. An estimated 1.5 million people have been forced to flee their homes. Basic resources and medical care are scarce and the millions of displaced are especially susceptible to waterborne illnesses, such as cholera.
International Medical Corps has already mobilized staff into 6 mobile medical units to serve the hardest hit areas. We need your help to provide critical medical care and other emergency services as soon as possible.
