We have maintained close engagement with trusted local partners to ensure timely information flow and reinforce solidarity amid heightened insecurity and displacement.
Across North and South Kivu, community-based initiatives are sustaining essential services for survivors of sexual and other forms of gender-based violence, adjusting their approaches as security conditions and displacement patterns evolve.
Local partners have also continued to support initiatives to establish humanitarian corridors, advocate for the non-recruitment and use of children in armed groups, and conduct rapid assessments with displaced or returned people and others.
Thank you for your continued support to our local partners as they sustain these life-saving and critical efforts on the ground. Your contributions continue to provide practical assistance, resilience, and hope to survivors navigating these extraordinarily challenging circumstances.
