Dear Friends,

We have launched a comprehensive anti-stigma campaign to improve mental health services and reduce stigma. Using tools like brochures, posters, videos, and photobooks, we aim to raise awareness, dispel myths, and encourage individuals to seek mental health care.

Key Activities

  1. Survey: Completed analysis reveals 14.23% of individuals in informal settlements experience common mental disorders.
  2. In-Depth Interviews: To gain deeper insights into the mental health challenges in informal settlements, we conducted in-depth interviews with residents, particularly those who have faced mental health issues in the past. The qualitative data shows that while people in these settlements are aware of mental health issues, they are often reluctant to discuss them openly. Many residents are living under the constant threat of forced eviction, which is negatively impacting their mental health.
  3. Photovoice: A photobook on mental health has been prepared to spark discussions at the community level.

We sincerely thank you for your support, which has made these initiatives possible. Together, we are fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment for mental health.
