Cancer treatment is physically demanding, but it also takes a serious emotional and psychological toll. This project provides mental health counseling and support services to cancer survivors, helping them cope with anxiety, depression, and trauma during and after treatment. Your support ensures survivors receive the holistic care they need to rebuild their lives.
Many cancer survivors in Ghana face emotional and psychological challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, and social isolation. Limited access to mental health services leaves survivors struggling to cope, affecting their quality of life and recovery.
This project provides professional counseling, support groups, and mental health workshops for cancer survivors. By offering safe spaces to talk, share experiences, and learn coping strategies, survivors gain emotional support, build resilience, and improve their overall well-being.
Survivors who receive mental health support are better able to reintegrate into their communities, maintain healthy relationships, and improve their quality of life. Over time, this program will reduce the emotional burden of cancer, foster community support networks, and promote holistic survivorship care in Ghana.
