By Francis Osisiogu | Project Leader
We are currently in the fundraising phase of this important project, with a total target of $7,000 needed to launch training activities across participating secondary schools. At this stage, $7,000 remains to be raised, with 0 donors and 0 monthly supporters so far.
Funds raised will be prioritized toward certified trainer fees, training materials, student workbooks, school outreach logistics, and establishing confidential referral support systems for participating students. Every contribution received will move the project closer to equipping adolescents with practical skills to recognize distress, support peers, and connect them to professional care.
While financial support is still needed, planning and stakeholder engagement efforts are ongoing to ensure immediate implementation once funding begins. With donor support, this project can create lasting mental health awareness and peer support networks in schools.
