In Uganda, education alone does not guarantee success for girls facing social and economic barriers. "Confidence & Leadership for Girls" equips 200+ girls with mentorship, life skills, and access to finance resources for income-generating activities. Through workshops, guidance, and livelihood support, girls gain confidence, resilience, and economic tools to thrive in school and life.
Many girls lack mentors, leadership training, and financial opportunities to build independent futures. Poverty, gender inequality, and limited access to capital prevent them from starting small businesses or pursuing career goals. Without life skills and financial inclusion, girls remain vulnerable to unemployment, early marriage, and long-term economic hardship.
The Girl Child Foundation Uganda, we conduct workshops on leadership, communication, financial literacy, and problem-solving. Girls are paired with mentors for ongoing guidance and support. We provide access to finance resources, savings groups, and small startup capital for income-generating activities. This is because community initiatives build teamwork and resilience while strengthening girls' economic independence.
Over 200 girls will gain life skills, mentorship, and financial access to improve their livelihoods. Increased confidence, leadership, and entrepreneurship will expand education and career opportunities. By combining personal development with economic empowerment, girls become self-reliant, support their families, and contribute meaningfully to community growth.
